• Vertical stamps are normally used to stamp a freshly placed 'vertical' concrete, which is typically a Carving/Stamping Mix (sold here) that can be applied a few inches thick over an existing surface (such as a concrete foundation/cinderblock wall).  In some cases, you can also place these stamps inside forms and then fill with concrete, but care needs to be taken to make sure everything lines up and will look good when stripped later...!
  

• Vertical Limestone Ashler – 8 Piece Vertical Stamp Set

• Richly textured limestone of various sizes arranged in an ashler pattern. This is the most versatile of any vertical stamp on the market. The variation depth and detail is incredible. It will require up to 3/4 inch material for proper results. This set was designed for easy use on seatwalls using Hardscape Systems products as well as complete vertical use on other projects. They can be run in a line, in step fashion, or even in a vertical orientation. There are enough small pieces that prevent you from “getting stuck”.
